On this day July 3,1971 Jim Morrison died of heart failure.(or so the official report states) I just want to commemorate the day!:(

Thanks Marlene. And his music still lives on. It's a shame he died so young. I can't help but wonder about the music we never heard. He was a hottie too.

He stated once that he never wanted to end up being a "Reunion" act in the future. I have a feeling that he would still be putting out original stuff if he had lived.

And, yes! He was a hottie!

Yes, Jim was one of rock's all time greatest talents. And he left behind a great legacy of music. I think that with the exception of The Soft Parade, every Doors album was great. And so Jim will live on through his art.
