howdy fellow coach fans.

i do in fact have coach on both DVD and VHS. i have about 45 episodes (in NO particular order) on DVD. i also have about 176 episodes on VHS.

i work for a production house up here in O'Canada. i have been in the process of transfering my VHS Coach tapes to DVD in my spare time. i even went as far as creating some neat menu's on the DVD's etc.... they were transfers from a high quality ATI capture card. so the quality is very decent. NOT sparkling crystal clear like true-blue DVD can deliver. let's face it......the quality is only going to be as good as the source. considering that VHS is a very poor medium to store information on....im quite pleased with the results!

old shows being transfered onto DVD seems to be the in thing to do now for several studios that own the rights to these programs. i do have about 56 other episodes backed up on a TIVO drive from when coach was airing on nick-at night last year. those transfers will most likely turn out even better.

anyhow.......im hoping to have my little COACH project transfered onto DVD by the end of the month (JULY 04)

anyone wanting some can contact me:

always up for trades! looking for the facts of life episode "eight little indians" also interested in the entire silver spoons set if anyone has it?

a purchase can be arranged as well. but if you go that route.....understand you would be purchasing the LABOUR TIME that it took me to transfer the episodes. after all it is copyrighted material.

LOL!

down the home stretch we go!

over half way there. looks like its going to take 25 complete DVD's to get the project done.

anyone on this board have access to a HIGH QUALITY version of the final episode? coach episode 200.

still desperatly looking for that facts of life episode "8 little indians"

gotta be out there some where? Judith....nice work on the silver spoons poll you've started. hopefully the studio will wake up and realize that there is enough fan support out there for them to cash in on "silver spoons" being re-mastered.

one thing that bothers me with most of these re-mastered shows being released on DVD etc.....is very few companies will actualy supply a COMPLETE SET as an option. often you will have to get 1 DVD at a time. season 1, season 2 etc...... columbia house is bad for that! you sign up for a subscription to your favorite show and you only end up getting like 1/4 of all episodes. then they send you a letter saying "thanks for subscribing, your set has concluded........"

peace
