ive notived alot of talk about what kind of religion they are. MKA are lutheran, not jewish. just wanted to let you all know that!:)

My friend told me they were Christans.

It's Christian...as for the difference between it and other Christian religions, I don't know.

They would probably have to be Lutheran for what I have found. Here is a link to a Lutheran site and they are honorary committee members. (their names are on the left toward the bottom of the list)

Yes , Lutheran is like a Christian. Like I'm Roman Catholic , and my cousin is Lutheran. (She's Lutheran b/c of her dad) They're kind of the same , but different somehow.

The reason I thought Mary-Kate was Jewish was because she wears a red bracelt that someone said symbolizes Kabbalah. (I have heard others say it is for her eating disorder.)

Lutherans are a part of the Protestant religion. Though they tend to lean more to the Catholic side because Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran Church, was the first to break away from Catholicism. The difference between Catholics and Protestants are that some Catholics believe you have to earn your way into heaven, tend to pray to the saints, and I heard that some Catholics have a slightly different Bible. There are other differences as well. There are similarities too. I am not trying to put down anyone here this is what I have heard, and I am only answering a question. We need to watch what we say though because religious topics aren't really allowed, however I was the one that started the topic.

Not to be mean, but you do know religious discussions aren't really allowed on SO? They just lead to fights :)

It's not really discussing it, it's just telling us what they are. If I were to tell you what you should believe in or discriminate against your religion that's another story. Just stay away from opinions that's all or close the topic because what's said is said. ;)
