I am going to purchase a dvd burner, but I want to record some of the movies I have on vhs this way. I've heard of video cards or something that you hook up from your vcr to your computer. Is this how I would go about doing that?

there are 3 ATI AIW listed, which one do I buy? Can I hook this to a AMD Athlon XP 1700. I know that this is an older processor, so would it be possible?

How many jacks are needed for hooking this sorta thing up?
