Someone on another message board that I post on recently received a DVD with the entire Glomer's Story cartoon, after they complained to Shout Factory about the mistake on disc 1 of the Punky Brewster DVD set. Along with the replacement disc, they also received a note from Shout telling them that they plan on releasing Punky Brewster: Season 2 in February or March of 2005, and they said to expect more of the Punky cartoon with future seasons. This is exciting news, but I was hoping the seasons would be released every 6 months, that way, we'd have the entire series in just 2 years. Ah well, there are many other shows to keep us occupied till then. :p

aww that sucks that season 2 wont be out untill next YEAR lol. I was hoping it would have been out sometime this year, since there's still 7 months of this year and it would have been cool to have another season of Punky to watch on dvd besides just the first one for the rest of the year. Plus there's 4 seasons of Punky, it would have been nice to have at least half the series this year lol. March of 2005 seems SO far from now, a little over half a year away. especially that long to only have the 2nd season out lol. It'll be forever before seasons 3 and 4 come out too lol. Oh well, at least its really good news to hear that they ARE at least putting the 2nd season out on dvd too tho. Cant wait to get it.
I'd love to get a dvd with the whole Glomer's story on it too, since on my dvd set it was cut off as well.

Can't wait to watch the "Punky gets a treehouse" episode! That's one episode which I haven't seen since the 80's and yet sticks clear in my mind! Roll on Season 2!!!

The guy who wrote the Punky Brewster Theme- "Every Time I Turn Around" - has a new website.

No wonder... each time I hum along to the Punky theme song, I always drift into the Cheers theme tune... now I know why... hah!
Anyone else finding it a long wait til Season 2 is released? I'm sure the episodes will have more substance to them and better locations (treehouse etc)... well as much as a show like Punky can have.
I hope we get interviews from Soleil and the guy who played Alan the blonde kid.

Apparently, Shout! Factory is now saying that the Punky Brewster: Season 2 DVD set should be ready for release in April 2005. Check out TVShowsOnDVD.com for more info...

Good News!
It isn't going to be as long as we expected. Now according to Shout! it will be February 8th 2005 and not April.
