I come around every once in a great while, but there doesn't seem to be much action here. Anyway, I liked the marathon a lot. How about you?

Hi Damin and Mr. Bevis. The marathon was good, I thought it was interesting how they showed all the ones with aliens as the theme. I loved seeing "Leather Jackets," its always been a favorite of mine.

I was wondering, there is an episode that they never show. Its the one where the man bets another man that he can't be silent for a year. Do either of you know the name of that episode.

I wish on the next marathon they would show more of the episodes that are never shown.

Yep. That's called "The Silence." Rumor has it that someone made a bet with Sci-Fi that they couldn't go for a year without showing that episode. If Sci-Fi goes for a year without showing it, they get $500,000. Or according to a different version of the rumor, if they go 500,000 years without showing it, they get $1. That's Sci-Fi, always willing to do anything for a buck!

(Of course I am kidding about the rumors. ;) )

I think it is such a wonderful episode, I think the ending is so shocking. The first time I saw it I couldn't believe it. What wonderful imagination the writers of that show had.

No wonder television today is so boring, no imagination. :wave:

Hey Jrnygrl! "The Silence" is going to be on Monday morning, August 2nd on Sci-Fi, 5 am Eastern time on Sci-Fi East, 5 am Pacific time on Sci-Fi West.

As I was just telling Damin about "Probe 7--Over And Out," I hope they don't change the episode on you. If they don't, then it looks like Sci-Fi won't collect that money after all. ;) (I hope they don't play even more commercials instead. :( )

Does anyone know if there is going to be a marathon this Thanksgiving, on the SciFi Channel?

Just checked the SciFi website. No Thanksgiving marathon, but you can vote for your favorite episode for the New Year's eve marathon. Voting ends on Nov. 17.
