When I lived in California, we had commericals from this guy who called himself the "Diamond Man" He owned a jewelry store, those were stupid everyone at my school always made fun of those commercials.

I think the Geico ads are funny, especially the one with the guy in prison whose lawyers tells him he has good news....he just saved 15% on his car insurance.

Another funny ad campaign is Vehix.com, where the guy is dressed as a computer monitor and checking out car information for people who treat him like dirt. Cracks me up.

I absolutely hate the commercials for overactive bowel syndrome medication or whatever where women lift up their shirts to reveal writing on their bellies. It just creeps me out for some reason.

Maybe it's the abundance of bellybuttons.

- The club cracker commercials. I saw it once and heard the theme song.. since then i've violently dashed to the TV and turned it off whenever it comes on.

- Car commercials. Blah, blah, blah, 0% APR, 10 year warrently, 100,000 mile gas mileage.. it's always the SAME CRAP. Except i <3 that one where some people try to push someone's car off a cliff to piss them off and it lands perfectly without any damage and they're like noooooo. THAT is the only good one. I'm proud of that company for thinking outside the box and making an appealing car commercial.

- Goldberg and osbourne commercials.. they're some stupid lawyers, i think they're just local though. seems to me they TRY to bore the crap out of everyone with their commercials.

- The new pepto bismal commercial. rip off of ebay commercials.

- That GOD DAMN "FEED THE CHILDREN" COMMERCIAL. RRRRRRRR. They seriously try to brainwash you into making that damn phone call and feeding the damn children. "You don't call because you're busy, and you're not busy now, so go call now." When they film it they obviously set up a scene that looks all poor and torn up and they give the kids sloppy costumes to wear and tell them to make sad faces.

- Debt free commercials. Pardon but isn't there a bill you have to pay for watching TV? And if you're in debt why the hell would you be watching saturday night live and spending more money?

- Ovaltine commercials. They talk **** about nesquik and say it has no vitamins when it does. They're also the most conceited and arrogant people in the universe. They get the lamest most horrible actors ever and make them say **** like "Is that nestle quik?" "Get real! It's rich chocolate ovaltine?"

- That new stupid dr. pepper commercial with lee ann rimes singing that obnoxious song. god damn annoying lady.

- Any weight loss (minus michael thurmon's) commercial. They ALL say the SAME DAMN CRAP. "I lost 38 lbs, i lost 28 lbs, i lost 57 lbs, blah blah blah." There is NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANY OF THEM. EXCEPT for Michael Thurmon's 6-week body makeover. I, being an infomercial whore, see it alot, i've seen how it works and it really is impossible to fail.

- The bareminerals infomercial. Even before i learned about advertising strategies in school, it was so easy to see the ways they tried to mislead and brainwash you into buying their goddamn makeup. It's foundation and they had before/after pictures of the ladies that used it. in the before pictures they made them look all ugly, and in the after pictures, they not only added the foundation, but they also put on lipstick, blush, eyeshadow etc, they made sure their faces were clear, and they made their hair look better. They also talk about liquid foundatio like it's just the most disgusting thing everrrrr! They said one of the ladies on the set was a "brave, brave girl" for putting some one. i want to call them an obscene name but that's so pathetic i can't even think of one..

- The infomercial about ony little's gazelle secret ****. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO ****ING SCREAM THE WHOLE TIME! Not only does he talk like we're 289 miles away but he says the most annoying things. So does his stupid assistant. "AFFORDABLE.. PORTABLE.. AND TOTALLY... SOTRABLE!" the world would be such a better place if he would shut his damn mouth.

- Any commercial with billy mayes. Like his long-lost brother tony little, he feels the need to SCREAM at us like we're going deaf and the building's on fire.

- The enzyte commercials. They use Bob to kind of catch attention and amuse the people watching.. but they're just boring. And they always play them twice in a row. Annoying.

- Any commercial the TV guide channel makes about themself. WAY WAY WAY OVERPLAYED AND ANNOYING. If i see that one that features kelly clarkson messing up during the interview i'm gonna punch my fist through the TV. Plus they're just a bunch of conceited bastards who think they are the channel of america. Everything is all about them.

- Any commercial that just tries to mislead you/brainwash you/persuade you to buy it too much. Kill. DESTROY!

Yeah ok, that's all i can think of. And one last thing:

I don't like these newer commercials because I like the old vintage commercials from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. I love these old commercials from McDonald's, Pepsi, Coca-Cola (with the classic "I Like to Teach the World to Sing" jingle), Hershey's (I love the late 70's jingle with the slogan which is very patriotic "The Great American Chocolate Bar"), Wendy's and a whole bunch of older commercials along with a bunch of old time radio commercials from the 30's, 40's and 50's like for example Jell-O, Maxwell House, Blue Coal Gasoline (a sponsor for "The Shadow"), Ovaltine (used for a number of premiums from "Little Orphan Annie") and lots more. I still love old commercials.

OMG, has anybody seen the commercial for The Game Show Network(which I do not have) with William Hung? He starts out singing "We Are the Champions", and throughout the commercial, he's portraying Freddie Mercury from Queen from the We Are the Champions video, holding the micophone stand up in the air and wearing the uni-tard that Freddie wore in the video. I just saw the commercial today for the 1st time and thought OMG, NO!!, being a huge fan of Freddie. I know it's supposed to be funny, and I have nothing against William Hung but my sister saw the same commercial later and said to me 'How can they even think about comparing William Hung to Freddie Mercury?!' Maybe that was the whole point.

Oh, and I hate those Ovaltine commercials, too!! I remember trying Ovaltine when I was a kid and didn't like it.

They used to show the freakin' TrimSpa ad with Anna Nicole Smith getting out of the Hummer limo alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the FREAKING TIME here, but they seem to ahve slowed down on that. It was REALLY pissing me off too...Anna gets out of the limo, walks down the red carpet, cameras start going off and the camera pans her body and focuses right on her chest...sheesh! She has the most pointy boobs I've ever seen. :eek: No...just no. Plus, that top looked like it didn't fit her. There was this tampon ad that really pissed me off. It was the one where this girl was wearing all white and was at a party. She said "excuse me a moment" and went to the party host's bathroom upstairs. There was a window open, and she took out the tampon that was in her pocket and put it on the windowsill. The wind then proceeded to knock off the stupid girl's tampon, so the stupid girl decided she would use up all of the host's supply of pads to rescue her precious tampon from the bushes down below. God, I wanted to sock that girl in the face. :boxing:

And about the Geico ads - they 0wnz y00. I remember a really funny one they had around 1999/2000 where there was a 3-headed man with this lady in a fancy restaurant. One of the heads happened to be French Stewart. I don't remember exactly how it went, but at the end, all the heads started arguing and somebody in the ad blurted out, "I just saved 15% on my car insurance!" :lol:

In the Northeast we get those identity fraud commericals. I think a Citibank company. You see a big beefy guy sitting on a lawmower talking with a sissy sounded womans voice saying how he got such and such by using taking someone identity. The sound of the sissy voice turns me off. Another in the same vein is a grandma type with husky mans voice. Those commericals have to go.

The upset stomach ones I can tolerate.. the women who show their stomachs with lettering all over them. . One thing about that one is, the stomachs look about what average stomach look like. Not too flabby or washboard thin

Oh, those Citibank commercials are shown down here in Fla, too, and I think they're hilarious!! But a little creepy. The guy sitting on the lawnmower, at one point he says, "I feel like the prettiest girl in the whole development"! And the asian-american dental hygienist doing the voice of 'Larry' and she has that breathy laugh at the end. Reminds me of Butthead from Beavis & Butthead!!
