View Full Version : You Know You've Been In School To Long When...
Family Ties Forever! 07-01-2004, 01:31 AM YOU KNOW YOU"VE BEEN IN SCHOOL TO LONG WHEN...
-Your count down of the minutes 'till school is over has entered the double digits.
-You begin to confuse the English language with the Mathematic language.
-You can make it up the stairs in record time
-You can tell which floor you’re on just by the temperature
-Your plans for the upcoming weekend help you get through Monday.
-You leave to go to a party and you put on your ID badge
You walk to class without ever concentrating on where you're going. You merely arrive at the right place by instinct.
-You've developed tactics to look awake when really, you're just sleeping.
-BS is the one thing you've mastered, and the one thing they don't teach.
-You find obscure and totally random connections between an event in your life and the literature you are currently learning about in class.
-You use the word "connotation" in everyday life.
-You check your watch automatically every 30 seconds.
-You start imagining that you hear the bell that signals the end of the period.
-When you know the exact time (including seconds) on your watch for when the bell will ring at the end of every class.

*Bela Lugosi* 07-01-2004, 09:09 AM I know, school is a terrible place for young kids, who want to go outside and play, but they can't cause they have to work.

School sucks!! Why can't people just get jobs without going to school or getting a high school dipoma? Why can't people just learn school subjects from the computer?

You CAN and you WILL. You just have to work hard to earn it. There's nothing to be afraid of. If you ever get stuck in a course, just ask someone to tutor you. :D

Excellent! I know you'll do well in school. :) Math wasn't my strong suit either, but I managed to get myself through Algebra 2 in high school and graduate with all the necessary credits. :D Everybody has something they're not good at, so you're not alone. :)
Dude111 12-24-2024, 07:14 AM I hated school also but none of those apply to me :)
