I'm not quite sure as to why it was removed, but I think you should allow images in signatures again.

No way. Nobody adhered to the rules, and it sucked having to scroll though peoples' gigantic signatures.

It's a lot better this way.

It wouldn't be so bad if you limited the dimensions and only allowed one. Like make it 500(width)x150(height). And since they're in our signatures it'd only show up once in a thread anyways.

When did they stop allowing pics in signatures?
I registered in November 2003, and they're were no pictures in signatures.

TJ disabled images in sigs because of the photo galleries. It had originally been scheduled to open around mid-July 2003, but it didn't open til January 1st of this year.

Oh man this brings back so many memories. No one was following the signature image rules and it was costing TJ too much money so he took them out, then everyone started crying and bitching out TJ and saying they were leaving the boards. sad how everyone who said that is still here. :lol:
