That's a tough one, so many a great. The Cheese Shop is a popular fave, maybe my own fave is the Michael Ellis saga, where Eric Idle goes to the store to buy an ant, comes home, where his mother, Terry Jones, is lamenting her responsibilities for caring for his many pets, (That's what you said about the Sperm whale!), ans wherein they keep many tvs. He turns one on, discovers a show about ants (stroke of luck), and finds that his ant is minus an antenna and two legs, so back to the store he goes. He encounters store attendents who mistake him for one Michael Ellis, a toupee department where the clerks believe theirs to be virtually undetectable, and a poetry reading where they poets sing the praises of the ant, except for the last one who has composed a frightening tale of attack by an anteater. Great stuff.

I don't have a favorite because I don't watch it too often but from what I've seen it's sorta funny but kinda whacked out and weird...

i have been a Monty Python fan for many years and there are a number of sketches that are my favorites. One is the Dead Parrot, the other is the Cheese Shop, which mentions 47 different varieties of cheese and an early sketch when John Cleese plays a newscaster who is reading the news and he continues while there's a shootout and he is wheeled off into the back of a truck and ends up being thrown into the river.

Let's not forget the many animated sketches that Terry Gilliam created. They were also very funny. My favorite is "Conrad Poohs and his Dancing Teeth."

There was one other sketch that came to mind. "Arthur Ewing and his Musical Mice"
