Well, I completed the Dick Van Dyke series when I picked up the final season today at Barnes and Noble--only because they had a buy two DVD's and get one free. I got the series along with The Jetsons and the Spiderman '67 cartoon series--also released today. I have 9 full series on VHS, but the Dick Van Dyke Show is the first show on DVD to have every episode--in my library, that is. What I discovered is most of the bonus features are in the final disc--as expected. However, there are no DVD commercials on the discs, but there is a promo for the New Dick Van Dyke. Let me know what your takes are for the 5th and last season of one of the most sophisticated series ever.

I am so jealous! Mine didn't come today as I had hoped it would. I have high hopes for tomorrow, however! Happy watching!

My set came yesterday (Monday, and that was the free shipping :happyface ) but I really haven't had time to look through it. The only thing I took time to do was to watch my very favorite episode, "Long Night's Journey Into Day". Hopefully by the weekend, I'll get time to go through each disk.

My set came yesterday, but there was a problem with my internet cable connection so I couldn't get online to rejoice! Of course, I watched "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" without the commentary, then again with the commentary. I LOVED it!!! I watched a couple more episodes last night, "The Ugliest Dog in the World" and "Draw Me a Pear." I felt like I was in heaven! It is so wonderful to have, at last, all 5 seasons of the Dick Van Dyke Show! It is truly a dream come true!

Mine came yesterday, and it's great to finally have seen this day arrive. I actually own all the episodes, plus bonuses!
