View Full Version : I found it a bit ODD that the guy who offered J.J a job as a Art Director referred to

him as J.J instead of Mr. Evans. Since when does a person who hires you refer to you by your initials?-LOL I know it's just TV but i found it to be a little strange.

Was that name on his application? What ever you write as your name, an interviewer will call you by the same.

J.J never filled out an application, the guy who offered him the job heard everyone calling him J.J. and referred to him as J.J also. I just thought since he was supposed to be the guy hiring him it would have sound a lot better to say Mr. Evans

Well Im not sure what you do -- but usually coworkers get to know eachother.

Where have you been working. Co-workers call each other nicknames if they have them. Everyone called me lani though that is not my full name.:crazy:

Maybe you dont realize that people call eachother by nicknames.... because people dont want to talk to you at work.

Actually Solomon, I work in the media, and there is a guy I work with now who actually is called J.B. His real name is James, but prefers to be called J.B. Everybody at work knows him and calls him by that name. So it is not completely unusual.

But the guy who hired him would not have called him J.B. before he started the job. I think-lol
