I would say i enjoyed both equally. Both shows had underrated characters that i enjoyed. Dexter from Silver Spoons and Mr. Drummond from Different Strokes. So i would say it's a tie for me.

I used to watch Silver Spoons all of the time when I was a kid, but when they aired it on N@N a couple of years ago, I didn't really care for it as much as I used to. I like Diff'rent Strokes except for the last couple of seasons. I guess I have to go with Diff'rent Strokes. spunkygirl 06-28-2004, 05:17 PM Silver Spoons Ricky Schroeder *sigh* :D I only like about 2 seasons of DS, I like all of Silver Spoons :D AtlantaBravesFan29 06-28-2004, 05:28 PM Different Strokes, definitely. Dean Winchester 06-28-2004, 05:43 PM Diff'rent Strokes is much more entertaining to watch as an adult JT 06-28-2004, 06:19 PM I think "Silver Spoons" aged much better than "Diff'rent Strokes," but they were both great at their peaks, so it'd have to be a vote for equality from me. Mr. Drummond was the funniest character on DS to me. mstewart 06-28-2004, 08:50 PM Silver Spoons by a long shot. They did allow Ricky to grow up. Different Strokes became nerve grating with Gary Coleman. They kept him babyish too long and sitting on Drummond's lap was nerving to watch. dandelion wine 06-28-2004, 11:47 PM Tough call..
