I haven't see anything posted on this so I thought I would (I'm sorry if I missed it)...

Did anyone else see George Clooney on Dave a few days back? He talked about how he'd been fired from FOL twice. He made some comment about it being strange that he would be asked to be a part of the reunion after he'd been fired from the original show. He was totally arrogant about it, acting like he was too good for that kinda stuff now. I don't care for him very much.

ks, if you're just interested in FOL, you didn't miss much. The references to FOL lasted probably less than 30 seconds. It did sound like he was going to say more about it but Dave moved him on to something else.

Well, he's right. The only reason anyone was interested in seeing him on the reunion show was because he bacame quite famous after his FOL days. Nobody was asking, "Gee, I wonder if Ryan Cassidy will be on the reunion", but for whatever reason, everyone was asking about Clooney. They wanted nothing to do with him before, but now that he has a successful career, everyone wants a piece of him. I don't blame him for making bad comments. It's no different than if someone who didn't want anything to do with you in the past suddenly wants to be your friend because you've got a new toy, new car, became really good looking, or something of that nature. One of the perks of becoming successful is the ability to shake off fair-weathered friends and not be judged for it. I for one think that George's comments were quite in order.

We received a lot of emails at his website asking if Ryan was going to be in the reunion movie and there was even a high-level (studio-based) rumor that he was indeed going to make an appearance. Whether he would have accepted the job? Ryan wasn't sure about it. Some things are best left in the past. He actually has a decent fan-base, though. Thanks for remembering him!
