What is your favorite Doors album? I have not included any of the greatest hits collections or live albums, just the studio recordings. After the lackluster response to my Led Zeppelin poll I don't expect this one to fare any better, but if just a couple of people respond that'll be great. My favorite Doors album is their 1967 follow up to their debut, Strange Days.

Strange Days

I'm glad to see that so many people pick Strange Days. Strange Days was the band's slowest selling album and the single "People Are Strange" failed to make the top 10. However I read an interview once with the band's producer, Paul Rothchild, and he said that both he and the band considered it their greatest album.

I love The Doors! I guess my favorite would be LA Woman. I have Strange Days but I am not too crazy about that one!

This is a tough pick - I love every Doors album and own them all too
