I know a lot of critics bashed Two Guys and a Girl and called it a bad Friends clone. Personally, I like it a heck of a lot better than I ever liked Friends. I think the characters are more likable and the writing and acting are better. It truly is an under-rated sitcom. I enjoy watching it on WE whenever I get a chance.

I honestly don't see how it could be a Friends rip off, the two shows are NOTHING alike, that's critics for ya ohno:

Their is no way that this show is a Friends ripoff. I loved this show and never cared for Friends. The whole cast was great and it had more of a down to earth quality which I never saw in Friends.

This show was born from the "let's make clones of 'Friends'" era of sitcoms, so it does have its intentional similarities. But there's also enough about it to differentiate it from "Friends," which is probably why it lasted longer than, say, "The Single Guy."

Definitely not a Friends ripoff but the US networks do have a pack mentality. In a way I’m sad that I missed the original airing of the show because your not seeing it in it’s moment in time but seeing four seasons in less than six months has it’s advantages. After taping most of the shows I just found it easier to download the torrents, this way I can carry it on the notebook and watch it any time I want until to paraphrase Irene “ my Pete buzz wares off”. No sense waiting for the DVD that’s never coming.
By the way my favorite show is The Drip and the best line is "Your beard is on my mother".
