Very good. Only one correction.

Viv was in WINTER SPORTS. She was not in the episode with Danny Kaye.

The fact she passed up $48,000 shows how exhausted she must have been by the third season, and why she retired. Commuting back and forth from coast to coast each week must have been a real burden.

Think about how much $48,000 was worth in 1965!

Thanks for correcting me! "The Lucy Book" isn't that clear about 'Winter Sports' or 'Danny Kaye', so I wasn't sure...

Also...at least I think that's what she missed out on...I read in her biography that she got $8,000 an ep in the first season, so the paycheck may have gone up by season 3, and she also could have been paid for the eps she wasn't in anyway...who knows...

I think Viv would have been great in Lucy &the Countess Lose Weight, seems like the type of plot that Lucy and Viv would have done a hilarious job in.
