i was just wondering if anyone thought the price of the dvd was pretty high. i think it is but i understand why it would be so high and the dvd is worth the money in my opinion. i really want to get the dvd and am already counting down the days.

I think relatively speaking, the price of the DVD isn't too bad. For one, there were 25 episodes season. Also, I hear there are going to be lots and lots and lots of extras--documentaries, commentaries, extended music acts... Plus, I'm sure that securing the music rights also cost a pretty penny!

The price of the AD Dvd set is high 89 .98 I believe or we should say 90.00......I see why but i hope they may have another out cheaper without all the extra stuff.....My birthday is two months after that DvD set comes out.....November 7th is my bday my mom won't spend 90.00 on a dvd set for my birthday.....The O.C. comes out around my birthday as well and that set is 60.00 which isn't bad....but 90.00 is too much.....Maybe if im lucky Best Buy will have it on sale when it comes out for maybe 50 or 60 and some change.....If Im lucky.....Mel :D

I'm going to check into the Amazon pre-order thing. The American Dreams DVD will be the only tv show I've purchased on DVD, so I think I'll be willing to spend the money, if that makes any sense.
