I used to go to Shakey's restaurant when i lived in Virginia back in the day. Their all u can eat buffet was the bomb. They had pizza, lasagne, spaghetti, macaroni & cheese, tacos, garlic bread. Then all of a sudden they closed up in the mid 90's. I was mad when they went out of business. Cleveland doesn't have any restaurants like Shakey's. We have a Ponderosa & Old Country Buffet but their buffets aren't as good as Shakey's. Ponderosa's buffet is decent. They have fried chicken, tacos, macaroni & cheese.

Yes! I remember Shakey's. I thought it was just pizza. :lol: Shows what I know--I went there once a long time ago. We had one around here.

I've never really been a big fan of buffet restaurants. Although "Sweet Tomatoes" kicks ass. :rock:

When i used to live in Alexandria, Virginia, there was this restaurant named Shakey's. They had the best all you can eat buffet i ever had. They had spaghetti, lasagne, tacos, pizza, macaroni & cheese, fried chicken. I can't even find a restaurant here that has a buffet like that. I wish Shakey's hadn't gone outta business.

There's still Shakey's where I live, but I never eat there!

I don't recall ever having those here.
