View Full Version : What's the dumbest/boringest movie you've ever seen?
G-Force Glockstar 06-23-2004, 07:08 PM What dumb/boring movies have you seen?
The dumbest movie I've ever seen is probably "Junior".
It's about a guy being preganet...it's funny, but weird.
I'll have to think of some others.
EmoJoe 06-23-2004, 07:10 PM The Nutty Professer
Its gross and retarted
Brian 06-23-2004, 07:32 PM I can think of one that fits both categories: Tarzan, the Ape Man starring Bo Derek.

G-Force Glockstar 06-23-2004, 11:44 PM Lots of people think "Uptown Girls" is a stupid movie, but I think it looks good.

Ah, I actually like that movie.
Anyways, I hate The Cat in the Hat, that movie was the worst movie I have ever seen.

Oh MAN. I remember when that movie came out! I thought it was a REALLY weird movie. I have to agree with ya there...
For me, my answer would be "The Super Mario Bros. Movie". O-M-G. What the hell were they thinking when they produced that movie?! The SMB Movie is the stupidest, most boring and most lame movie I have EVER sat through. :wallbang They're proof you should NEVER make a live-action movie of a video game. :nonono:
It also bombed in theaters, BTW.

Sorry, no offense.

Cradle 2 the Grave
The Mexican
The Way of the Gun
Just crap all the way through.
I'll second most nominations thus far. Let me just add Freddy Got Fingered. Wholly awful.

I agree. I hated that movie, didn't understand what all the rave was about it.
Sterling Holobyte 06-25-2004, 01:20 AM I think this one fits both of those categories: The Royal Tennenbaums.
Opus the penguin(Bloom County) had an excellent phrase which would be appropriate for that one: "terminally putrid!"

Yep, you got your money refunded if my memory serves correct.

It was that bad.
This may make me an L-7 square, but I never liked Fight Club or The Matrix.

I'm an L7 square too. I rented the dvd after reading so much internet buzz about it, and I just don't get the fascination. Didn't like it at all. Still, I say "Little Nicky" was the dumbest movie I ever sat through.

It was extremely corny, but I actually liked it for it was. It's one of those movies you just have to see once just for the purpose of having seen it.

Awww the Matrix is good!!
If not for the plot, then just for the sheer hotness that is Carrie-Anne Moss.
But I'll bet you liked Keanu Reeves better

Sonny, stay far away from Battlefield Earth. As for Waterworld, I have tried my best to like that movie. Maybe I should give it another chance.

Hooo boy.. with that one, yes! I can't find many people, if any, who would agree that it was actually worth their money or time. John Travolta's great, but that was a stinker (imo).

I wouldn't be surprised if instead of you paying to see it, they paid you!!
Dumbest movie--I actually paid money to see "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes".
Most boring--it's a tie--"Blair Witch Project" supposed to be really scary, it wasn't scary.
Other movie--"Eyes Wide Shut" Geez, waiting for SOMETHING to happen in this movie. Nothing. You'd think with a movie with Tom & Nic in it, who are 2 of my favorites, I expected a bit more. Then again, I heard that Far & Away didn't do so well, either.
diezman 07-02-2004, 11:54 AM Dumbest - Cabin Fever- I truly loathed the characters. I wanted to see them die
Boring - The Lord of the Rings - I know it's a huge blockbuster but I never could figure out what all the fuss was about. I wanted to like this movie and a really tried to
Cactus Jack 07-02-2004, 12:23 PM Bicentennial Man - I thought this would be a comedy it wasnt I didnt really like it at all
Dean Winchester 07-02-2004, 03:10 PM what about Heaven's Gate? one of the most notorious bombs of all time.
Trio aired it a few weeks ago, and I decided to watch a little of it to see just how awful it was.... as opposed to being some really awfully acted camp-fest (think Ishtar) or a bad ego-flick (Waterworld), the most was just dull and sluggish and boring. For a movie as infamously bad, there wasn't much to actually laugh at.

MASH. I like the tv show, but the film is so boring. There isn't much of the original cast from the tv show in the film. The only original cast member is that guy who wears the glasses. I forget his name.
