I think I'll share this experience with all you MAMA fans out there! OK, a few weeks ago I went to see Harry Potter - we arrived at the threatre 45 minutes early. HOW BORING! http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v34/TroyandLindseyFan/sleep.gif I'm looking around observing people, while sitting on a bench without a back....great for posture, by the way! http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v34/TroyandLindseyFan/00000028annie.gif -any ole who, I saw this old woman come into the threatre. She was wearing a flowery pastelesque dress that went a little past her knees, LIKE MAMA, her sweater was drapped around her (it was YELLOW) with only one button done, so that it would be "grammy" stylish....her shoes were comfortable white shoes, the kind Mama would buy at GRANNY GAP store! The old woman's hair LOOKED JUST LIKE MAMAs! I turned to my mom and said, "That old woman looks like Thelma Harper." Hahahaha! She shuffled her feet all over that theatre!! She ended up sitting at a table next to a cardboard cut out of Tom Hanks in the movie, "Terminal."
I hope you liked my Thelma Harper experience! My friends may not appreciate it, but I'm sure her FANS would get a KICK out of it! http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v34/TroyandLindseyFan/yourock.gif

One of my aunt's friends looks like Mama, too. She looks like a young Mama, though. She looks EXACTLY like the picture Allison posted in the gallery of Mama in 1953.
A few years ago, one of my aunt's other friends saw MF for the first time and he immediately thought of this woman. Everytime he would see her, he would call her Thelma Harper. She got so mad once she found out what he meant.

That's too funny!!! My math teacher in the 11th grade looked like Iola! My mom would ask, "So, what happened in Iola's class today?" Muahahahahaha!!!!

OMG!!! THAT ROCKS! If her sweater had been purple, you would have been able to easily mistake her for Mama!
