I thought that I would give those who haven't pre-ordered the fifth season yet, a head-start on where to look. Samsclub.com is selling the fifth season for $38.52, and the remaining seasons for about $39 each. It only takes about 4 days for delievery using standard shipping. If you don't have a samsclub card, amazon.com is selling it for $48.99, however I would recommend deepdiscountdvd.com for a few dollars more, because tax and shipping are free at deepdiscountdvd.com and it ships in about 10 days. Amazon.com offers free shipping, but it takes about three weeks.

Also, for those of you who are not good enough fans of the show to purchase complete seasons, FYE offers each of the five "best of" sets for only $4.99 each, 66.7% of the retail price ($14.99 each).

I've pre-ordered each DVD-on-DVD set from Amazon (via Free S&H), and each arrived either on release date, or a day later. Shipping time = 2 days.

I ordered the first season of Gilligan's Island February 9 (released February 3, so it was not a pre-order) and found it in my mailbox Febraury 26.

I've never had any problems with Amazon, but most of my preorders have arrived a few days after the release date. Lately I've received 2 sets from Deep Discount DVD on the Saturday before the Tuesday release date!!

I experienced the same delay on Gilligan's Island, but that was because it was backordered (it was very popular).

In general, I am very pleased with Amazon's shipping times. If it is in stock, you will receive it fairly quickly.

DDD usually gets stuff to me on the Saturday or Monday before release day.

does sam's club have it in stores? or online only?

Well, I don't know about where you live, but I live in NC and my samsclub is small. Online usually has three times more the DVDs hat the stores do. Also, I have noticed that the online price is actually cheaper than the store price in most cases! The Flinstones--First Season was $49 in the store and $41 on the internet!

I found the same thing to be true where I live. A video store had TDVDS season 1 on sale for $65.00. I found it at Amazon.com for $48.99. Although, our Walmart has been stocking up on tv show season sets lately. The first season of Who's the Boss? was $32.76 on Amazon.com and $29.95 at Walmart.
