to give your dog anesthesia(sp?) just to get their teeth cleaned? My dad's planning on taking my dog tomorrow and my mom's afraid she won't wake up so now it's making me all nervous. How big of a chance is that? Because I won't let my dad if it's a big chance. He's crazy...

i don't think it's worth it. it seems too big of a chance.

I know a few people who had to do this and it turned out fine.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal...but if your worried about it, I don't think I would do, it's not like its gonna be a big deal if the dog never gets its teeth cleaned. Getcha one of those doggie tooth-brushes.:lol:

Last time she went she acted wacky the next few days, and she's getting older so I don't know if that makes it any worse.

Call the vet and ask them. :) Or go on the internet and look it up. I don't see any harm... humans get it done everyday and they wake up.
