I only told one of my friends but then I only have 1 friend so I guess all my friends know.

I have two friends who know how obsessed I am, but they are obsessed with other shows and both of them like FOL too, although not as much as me. I try not to bring it up too much with other people. They look at me kind of strange if I do!

Let's see...I have two friends who know I am completely obsessed with Nancy. But...I have two more, they know Nancy is my fave actress, but I do not think they know I have 115 pics of her on my wall.

Well, in the beginning I tried not to let on about my obsession...but that failed. So now pretty much every single person in my grade and all of my teachers and family and all of my sister's friends know about it. Not everyone knows about my collection of tapes, this message board, my fan fics, my Jo helmet, my FOL clock, and my FOL friends though. The girl who had my name for our Class Will in our yearbook put down my love for FOL as one of the things I 'leave behind'...

Only one of my friends know how obssessed I am with Nancy, FOL, and TD. And one of my other friends only knows Nancy is my fave actress and I watch FOL. But that's it...

None of my friends know. They are just not interested in the show so I never talk about it around them. But my sister knows and she just laughs at me, especially because she loved FOL more than I did back when we watched it during its original run, but now she doesn’t really have an interest in it.

Quite a few people know about my love of 1980s sitcoms; several know that I adore Facts of Life.

My sister got Tootie's little blue raincoat in "Flash Flood", so we were obsessed even as kids.

Even today, when I'm feeling frustrated with the modern world, I can pop in a DVD and feel like it's "comfort food".

Oh, I was on Television Without Pity, but there wasn't a dedicated FOL forum or a community of dedicated FOL fans there, so my posting there was more limited. I still was able to talk about classic TV sitcoms.

TWOP was nice because they had paid staffers recapping episodes, sometimes gently mocking what they were watching. Their recaps were often hilarious.

The first high school I worked at awhile ago I had the students trained on knowing the FOL theme song :lol: It was a great stress relief for me to sing it throughout the work day. Some of the students would ask me, "if you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, what do you have?" My students during those years would always answer my question when I would get asked what my favorite show was because I talked about FOL a lot back then. I haven't done that yet at my current work school. With being so short staffed and overworked, my main focus is just making it through the work day.
