L&S. Sanford and Son #2 for 5 straight years and TC was #2 behind L&S for 3 years. But both shows were very entertaining and i love both. But i give the slight edge to TC because John Ritter was never absent from 9 eps like redd foxx so TC wins.



NOTE: Did you know that the couch used on Three's Company was used on Sanford and Son in 1976? That blew my mind.

Three's Company - my favorite

Without a doubt, "Three's Company".

Three's Company. It lasted 2 seasons longer than S&S

I like Sanford and Son and Three's Company- it's almost like comparing apples and oranges.

I think that Redd Foxx and John Ritter should have done a show together. Now that would have been interesting.

I like Sanford better because it deals with a family dynamic. Fred and Lamont were stuck together unlike the rommates who were friends. When Chrissy left she was never even referred to again. Sanford has wackier humor to it in that the things that the crotchety Fred said and did were far more outrageous than Jack or Furley would do or say. Also, I didn't like Chrissy's character being so brain dead in years 3-5, it brought the show down overall.

Chrissy was referred to. They introduced Cindy as Chrissy's cousin.

Three's Company. I'm not really a big fan of Sanford & Son.

Three's Company, John Ritter is the greatest, alot funnier than Red Foxx IMO.

I never cared much for Sanford and Son

Three's Company. I used to hate Sanford & Son but it's sorta grown on me, but I just prefer Three's Company. It's funnier.

I like both, but TC gets my vote.

Even though it was a factor in the downfall of The Brady Bunch, Sanford and Son gets my vote.

Though both are funny shows, Three's Company gets my vote.
