Uhhh Normaly when they switch times and nights with a show it normaly means there trying to get it to lose rating so when they cancel it it won't be to big of a shock... JMO But of corse I wouldn't be suprised if, This or next year will be the last year.

Yep...I get the same feeling too. That is the way it is with alot of shows. I just hope this isn't one of em.

Like purposely slash there ratings by moving it to another night? Wouldn't they want to wait until people stop watching it on there own?

I also find it strange that they are airing the season finale on a Monday night. I also find it strange how they suddenly rushed to get the remainder of this season's shows on the air this month. Normally the show doesn't end its season until late July/early August.

Is it just me or does Lifetime seem more interested in Strong Medicine than The Division these days? I saw tons of print ads for SM in the last few weeks along with radio ads and tv ads. TD never got this type of advertising this season that I saw. I even heard a radio ad for SM today for this weeks show. Why doesn't TD got this type of treatment from Lifetime?

I agree. I think they give SM more coverage because it gets the best ratings. I read somewhere (there was a thread and link about it here somewhere) that the ratings for TD dropped like 30% this season from last season. I know that it certainly wasn't a shock for me to hear that---with the way the CD was written off and all. I honestly think that they're trying to phase TD out. I think it will go one more season, and that will be it. I really don't see much effort on Lifetime's part for it.

Yeah... I think its gonna last one more season and then thats it. I dunno...I think it could have lasted longer had they hired better writers and planned things out better...

I think this might be it, guys. They haven't renewed it for another season, right? We usually know by now. And it's kind of like making a dying person live on a machine. It's not even that good anymore.

We havent heard anything about them cancelling it either so I dunno. Whatever happens, happens. *shrugs*

Well, here is my opinion. Once a network starts moving a show around to different nights/times, it is usually the end. They are moving stuff around to accommodate other shows, or maybe they think by putting other shows in front of TD will get more people to watch. Either way, it sounds like Lifetime maybe trying to keep it alive, but if they keep moving it around, how are people going to remember to watch? Just sounds like Life does not have faith in the show anymore.

There was an artical that someone posteed on here that said that the Division was renewed for a 5th season. I think that the 5th season is going to be it. The Division is a great show that could have gone on for many more years. I think they need to get new writters. Maybe if they get news ones now they can save the show and bring it back to life.

The first 3 seasons were really great, IMO, but then the 4th season wasn't that good after CD left and I think a lot of people lost interest then and the ratings dropped.

I agree. Quite honestly, I still have not watched a single episode after CD left, and from what I have heard from many people, I am not missing much. CD's departure was over the top for me and just says that the writers are going downhill. New writers should be brought in, and characters should not be tossed away and maybe the show can survive. JMO

HEY WENDI! Long time no hear! It's Angela! How are things going, anything new recently? And yeah I couldn't agree with you more. I only still watch the show for Jinny, (and the only good thing is her baby, and I HATE HANK) and in hopes that they'll bring CD back. My luck, they will and I'll miss that episode. :( So on the slim chance, I'm watching for it!

In regards to CD/Tracey's departure....

Did any of you ever think about the fact that maybe they let her go and hired someone that they didnt have to pay as much? I mean really, they're not stupid enough to let Nancy or Bonnie go because obviously they have bigger fanbases, especially Nancy. And Nate and Raina were still fairly new and the writers had barely developed any kind of storyline for them. We hardly knew anything about Nate. And all we knew about Raina was her moms were lesbians and she was adopted...

Or maybe Tracey actually wanted to leave? I just dont understand why some of you people havent gotten over it already. I mean, granted, my favorite on the show is Bonnie but I wouldnt still be sitting here sulking and whining because she left. Sorry but its just a show. And as you've seen, Tracey's doing other things. She was on CSI. All you Tracey fans have other things to look forward to.

No, in a way you are right, However, I am protesting the way that she left, and the way they have had other characters just disappear, without regard to the veiwers feelings. Also, from what I have heard, it was the show's decision to let Tracey go.

This is making me curious, what exactly did you hear? And from who?

OKay I really have to think hard on this. Cause I don't want to hurt anyone feelings I really don't. Do I believe that Tracey fans should be upset that she gone? Yeah sure why not? BUt as Tara did say We don't know WHY she left, and I don't think we ever will.


I have some great friendships with some of you tracey fans. And I would do nothing to hurt any of you on purpose. BUt ya know what? One person who is one of my best friends in the world is a tracey fan...Okay she not just a Tracey fan....SHE IS THE BIGGEsT Tracey fan! And yeah has this person talked to me about how much she misses Tracey YES SHe has. Do I blame this person NO I do not. But does this person come here and the only thing she post about is tracey leaving NO This person does NOT. Does she post Tracey posts yes this person does, but is it all the same subjesct NO It's not. It's different. And can understand you all being upset, but (and I am sorry to THE BIGGEST tracey fan out there cause I am afraid this is gonna upset you, and I am sorry in so many ways cause thats the last thing I want to do.) But it's not the end of the world.

It's all of your choises as to wither or not your gonna watch the show. But if, you don't watch the show don't sit there and say, "I've heard it's gotten worse" Or whatever it was that the person said...HOW would you know? YOUR NOT WATCHING!!!! And just because a 'friend' tells that the shows haven't been as good doesn't mean you are going to agree with them. Think of the friends you have do you agree with everything they say, and do, if, so you aren't really that good of a friend, and I know I wouldn't want you as one then either.

And another thing...Why is it that some of you who weren't even Tracey fans before are suddenly becoming her number one fan?!?!?! You know who you are...or at least i hope you do. One thing of advie to you...You DON"T MAKE FRIENDS BY LIKING EVERYTHING THEY LIKE. Get your own oupion your friend will respect you a hell of a lot better. You don't have to be as big of a fan just becasue they are...



One more thing, and then I am off my rant. Personaly I think that they have been trying to ruion the show since the season they shot off Charles Haysbert. That year was Tracey's last year...but that year EVERY other week they were CHANGING the time...ON the third week they would have a moive on instead of the show that WAS NOT IN RERUNS yet. I think that year was the beganing of the end. I really think next year will be the last. Unless they make some serious changes in TPTB not just the wrighitng.

All I have to say is this, and then I am getting out of this discussion, because I really do not think it is anything to argue over. All I was doing was making stating some of my own opinions and agreeing with other people. I have never said anything against anybody else who has kept watching the show, so I expect others to do the same. I have every right to listen to the opinions of other people that I trust to tell me something about a show and based on that, decide to watch it. I am my own person and make my own decisions. I do not always trust what other people say and have gone to movies that critics didn't like and I enjoyed them.

I am glad that there are people that still enjoy the show. Have fun watching, but please stop yelling at us that don't. (for whatever reason)

Somebody(from a different site) got a letter from a person at Lifetime or the staff at The Division saying that the writers had felt CD's storyline had come to a natural end, which is why they let her go. Yes, I am sure that there may be other reasons, but from what it sounds like, The Division people let her go.

okay haha, sorry but that SOMEBODY was me... and what they told me was that CD's storyarc ended and Tracey won't be in the next season anymore. But they never gave a reason, and they never said if it was Tracey's decision or theirs. Actually I know some other stuff too, I really don't wanna chew this through again, so all I'll say is we don't know why she left.
She's gone, that sucks. But Tracey's doing a new movie now and I'm looking forward to that. I don't watch the show anymore either but that's old news, no need to keep on warming that up again and again and again. That's my opinion.

You base any fact that you have gotten on Tracey on what little information other people have given to you, and call it your own. You have a right to your own feelings, but don't claim them as your own. You know what you could be the nicest person in the world, and I wouldn't know it, becasue you show your worst side here. Have I been mean..YES and I would be the first person to tell you that. but it gets a little tiresome when everyone comes here, and posts the same thing over, and over again. we knew how you felt as i said, what Six moths ago? Just cause time has gone by we arent' gonna forget. Or at least I won't. And I know a lot of other fans won't forget either wich is why were fighting again.


You know what this has become a place that NO one enjoys anymore...I had a friend tell me just the other day that they HATE comming here any more cause of all the annoying people. I want this to be a place that we can come to and have fun again. Something tells me I won't get that wish though.
