Anyone else notice that GSN is putting on more and more new game shows in the past week?

Some of them I don't even consider game shows (ex. Average Joe, and Love Connection are game shows?? I even consider Love Connection to be like a "Blind Date" type of show but without the filming of the actual "DATE")

I don't know. When I think of game show, I think of it actually being a "game" in a studio, where one contestant wins money until he/she lose and then a new contestant comes on.

These are GAME SHOWS:

Wheel of Fortune
Jeopardy
Price Is Right
Family Feud
Match Game
Body Language
Jokers Wild
Tic Tac Dough
Name That Tune
TattleTales
Newlywed Game
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

ETC.

I know that they played Match Game to death on GSN (My favorite game show)...and I don't care if they took off the nighttime version--but on the weekends, I'd love to have it back on --11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 6:00 PM)

Boy I miss those others like Password from the 70s and early 80s, Body Language, and Tic Tac Dough.

Oh well. Sorry for the ramblings.

Is there anything the viewer can do to change the error in their ways?

Yeah it sucks. What is up with extreme dodgeball or whatever it's called? Another sorry excuse for a game show I suppose. And I don't like the mole or dog eat dog either. They shouldn't be on GSn.

The only show on the new GSN is my favorite, "Match Game". I don't really like reality shows on the new GSN like "Extreme Dodgeball", "Dog Eat Dog","Average Joe" and others.:(

People already know what happened on a lot of those shows (like Average Joe), so what's the point in showing them so soon after NBC gave them up?

Game Show Network used to be a safe haven from "reality" shows. Now it's one of the worst offenders.

I think what Cronin's trying to do is have his network attract younger viewers! What the heck else is the purpose of GSN airing some reality cr@p like Dog Eat Dog, Spy TV, Vegas Weddings Unveiled, or Extreme Dodgeball?

GSN fell ever since they changed their logo and decided to put reality programming on their network! Bring back the classics!

I have to agree with what's been said here. GSN has the stupidest so-called game shows I have ever seen! "Kenny vs. Spenny," "Extreme Dodgeball," and of course the ever growing genre of televised card games (Poker, Blackjack, etc...) are getting on my last nerves.

Give me some classic Jeopardy! (and not the 1997 era eps that are showing now  ), lose the GSN "originals," and now were talking!

I agree that the new GSN had gone downhill since the logo change. They need to bring back the old Gong show. Not the newer up to date version. And whatever happened to Tic Tac Dough? I don't even see that one being aried anymore. Even the 70's version of Let's Make a Deal. They should also bring back Whammy and the old Price Is Right when Bob Barker was younger. Now, we are stuck with Who wants to be a Millionaire reruns, which have grown stale.:talk:

And what the heck is the sense of airing "ungame" reality shows (Spy TV, Average Joe, Vegas Weddings Unveiled, etc.) on a network for "GAMES"?

I haven't watched GSN in so long, I forgot what channel number it is. They started going down the toilet a couple of years ago and really flushed away when it became GSN. Last time I stopped on the channel by accident (while channel surfing) they were showing some dumb reality type crap.

Ditto! GSN already airs too many reality shows as it is anyway. A lot of us want to see the classics again. I wish GSN were the same as it were as it first aired nearly a decade ago...
