I just read on a "Bewitched" website that there is an urban legend floating around that there is a first season episode of BW (that was never aired) where Endora turns Darrin into a woman!
I need to know if anyone on this message board has heard about this.

No truth. Every script from "Bewitched" that Agnes appeared in is among her papers at the Wisconsin State Historical Society in Madison and there isn't any episode of that discription. But, that is why it is a urban legend.

This comes from Steve Cox's Dreaming of Jeannie book about "I Dream of Jeannie." It is in the back in a listing of "lost" "Bewitched" episodes, including another fake one where Aunt Clara accidentally summons Hitler. They're supposed to be humorous, but I don't think they're that great.

This may not be true, but I do know of some cases of "lost" episodes of certain sitcoms which were rejected by the network, and thus forgotten about and never even deemed part of the actual series, or the syndication process.

Well, Sam DID turn Darrin into a granny (Season 1, "Pleasure O'Reilly"). Endora made him think he was pregnant in Season 2 ("A Very Special Delivery"). Both were hysterically funny situations, and DY's performances made them even funnier.
