Apparently when they say "Ripped from the headlines" at the beginning of the previews, they really mean it. Next weeks episode sounds remarkably similar to the Scott/Laci Peterson case..

Yeah. I noticed that too. They really need new writers to come up with more unique ideas...

Yeah, they say that a lot. I wish they'd rip something from their imaginations more often. Headlines are far from original, especially this one. It's old.

LMAO, yeah, I noticed that too. With the case of a pregnant woman going missing, the husband being suspected, it being in SAN FRANCISCO ;) , etc. :lol:

And yeah, I have to agree that it's getting a little old with them taking famous headlines and putting them into scripts. Like when there were all those kidnappings of little girls happening, they did a case on that. I think it was the 3rd season premiere.

They also said they found the body where the husband was rock climbing. In the Peterson case, they found the body where Scott was sailing.
