my dvd writer software automatically encodes the avi/mpg files into something that works on dvd. it takes a long time though. I do know that my 2-3 minute videos take a long time to convert, so a dvd with 3-4 eps would take nearly all night to convert and burn.


btw the software is ArcSoft Showbiz DVD
