But I do have some from the 1970s, also. There is a store in Burbank called "Movieland." They sell old TV guides going back to the early '70s or late '60s. I think the older ones are $5.00 each, and the '80s/'90s are $2.00 or $2.50 each. vashti1999 06-18-2004, 09:56 PM DVDs Movie Dvds TV Dvds Music Dvds Reading Dvd release news online Reading Dvd reviews online Online Dvd message boards Recording stuff from tv on dvd-r Dreaming about dvds dandelion wine 06-19-2004, 12:56 AM Collecting: TV Guides James Dean memorabilia Butterflies Movie DVDs Just about anything related to horror movies Antiques Playing my violin Messing around online Reading Cooking Writing Watching the Weather Channel  Astrology Small Wonderian 06-19-2004, 01:00 AM My hobbies: reading, drawing, watching TV, playing on the computer, collecting 80's DVDs, collecting Small Wonder memorabilia Mr. Television 06-19-2004, 01:21 AM Originally posted by Fleet I do that, too! I for some reason didn't start keeping the summer months until about 1995. I have one from 1976 and one from 1982. That store sounds reasonable. $5 for a tv guide from the 1970's is a pretty good price. dawsongirl 06-19-2004, 02:04 AM Hmm... You should see their prices on those old movie magazines from the '40s, though. $15.00 to 30.00! They are rare, however. Pretty much the only reason I'm still saving them today is because of the Simpsons. I want to have TV guide issues of all the first-run episodes of that show. I'll probably stop collecting this mag once that show ends its first-runs.
