I thought the show was pretty funny, however, they did pick on Bush and the Conservatives quite a bit. You think that is the reason they dropped the show?

Poor ratings.

I didn't think it was that bad, considering it was on Tuesday nights. Tuesday nights are not very good for NBC.

The show had some nice qualities, but the ratings were not strong enough.I think they really wanted to go after the All In The Family crowd, but a lot of them are dead and in this day and age it's not a fresh idea. Maybe Whoppi isn't the one who can make a show of this nature appealing to a wider audience.

Pobably because Whoppi Goldberg was not easy on the eyes.

Neither was Roseanne, her show still became a major hit. ;)

She didn't look as bad as Whoopi

The show was axed cause of poor ratings and the fact that the star, Whoopi Goldberg, just isn't funny.

It was axed because Bush didn't like it, the ratings were fine.

Where in the rankings did the show finish?

I've always been a Whoopie Goldberg fan, and was sad it was canceled. I taped as many of the eps as I could --but my tapes were recently stolen.
There were some really funny episodes! I want to see them again! I'd like a DVD, with added stuff.

BTW, I wonder if any regular viewers of shows could ever have a chance of helping to create one of these DVDs? I've seen DVDs of little-to-well-known films and TV shows which had no commentary nor extras, yet a biography could've been produced and added.

BTW, Brent, are YOU the one who created the smilie named "Brent"?

:clap really EXCELLENT!
