If I remember correctly,Entertainment Weekly put it at #53 or 54(at the beginning,it was at 13)Maybe during third season,it will pull up in ratings. 8SR did better than Malcolm in the Middle did, though.

Well if the show finished at #54 then it defintely can finish below that next season. Usually when a show falls to 54, cancellation seems to be on the way because i don;t remember a show coming up from 54 to 24. Usually a 54 ranking is a sign of lost viewers.

Maybe now that its moving to Fridays,it might pull up in ratings...but its in ABC's hands now.

It was #47 in households this season (Nielsens) and #50 in total viewers. That is not too bad actually, despite going up against American Idol (AI Tuesday was the highest rated show this season) from January-May. Pre-January rankings: 8 Simple Rules was in the top 20 and before December it was in the top 10.

Now, that it moves to Fridays, it should be #1 in its timeslot (battling Joan of Arcadia for total viewers) and #1 for sure in viewers 18-49. It won't be a top 30 show, but it will clearly be one of the highest rated shows of the night.

I have told you before SOLOMON, that looking at the total ranking is not everything. Look at America's Most Wanted or Cops on Saturday nights, it's not even in the top 100, yet it comes back EVERY season because it's usually the top rated show on Saturday nights. You call yourself a TV Analyzer, yet you never understand and just think negative thoughts.

Maybe its ratings will improve. It was against American Idol,so most people watched that(esp. 8SR fans). Now that it is on Fridays, people will probably tune in more, but it might concern Joan of Arcadia fans who also tune in to 8SR.
