Who do you think had some of the greatest friendships in sitcoms?

I would have to say Cory Matthews and Shawn Hunter from Boy Meets World

Hawkeye Pierce and Trapper from M*A*S*H and Hawkeye and BJ from M*A*S*H

Joe Hackett, Helen Chapell, and Brian Hackett on Wings

Richie, Potsie and Ralph on Happy Days

:)

Kevin Arnold, Winnie Cooper, and Paul Pfeiffer from The Wonder Years

Theodore Cleaver and Larry Mondello from Leave It To Beaver

Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney from Laverne and Shirley

Lenny Kosnowski and Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman from Laverne and Shirley

Hannah Rayburn and Grace McKee from State of Grace

Larry Appleton, Balki Bartokomous, Jennifer Lyons, and Mary Ann Spencer from Perfect Strangers

Roseanne & Jackie. They may have been sisters, but they were also best friends to the end

Agreed. The Hawkeye/Trapper friendship was a little less "great" than the Hawkeye/BJ friendship simply because the Trapper character was only around for three seasons.

Definately Joey and Chandler.... they WERE the show.
If it weren't for them, I would've never liked it.

Yeah it's funny cause Chandler and Ross were college roommates and best friends, but yet Joey and Chandler seem alot closer, Chandler and Joey remind me of Cory and Shawn ;)

Laura Petrie and Millie Helper (The Dick Van Dyke Show). The storylines they had together were funny and enjoyable to watch. Personally I think it is one of the most underrated friendships on TV. Those two women were close and always there for each other.

Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern (The Mary Tyler Moore Show). I love watching them together. They were extreme opposites but it was such a respect and admiration for each other. They were like sisters.
