I don't ever think there should be another version of FOL made.

REASON 1: The girls that would play the parts would be all bone-thin former models-turned actresses in super push-up bras with Angelina Jolie-type lip enhancements.

REASON 2: Every other show one of the girls would be either losin' it or doin' it. (with special guest stars like Luke Perry or one of the N'Sync guys as their bf's).

REASON 3: Mrs.G would be a 30-something Heather Locklear type.

REASON 4: With a 'Jo-Blair' like conflict, instead of making snooty remarks at each other, they'd be sleeping with each others boyfriends, stabbings,etc.

REASON 5: The uniforms would be a Britney Spears "Hit me baby one more time" type get up.

REASON 6: Eastland would be a reform school for boozed-out teens.

In general, not a good idea. It's a classic and it can never be duplicated. :-)
