Warm & Fuzzy

Heya-
I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with pinhole glasses? I've been told that they do, indeed work, as it is scientifically proven to. However, I am a bit skeptical. It's too good to be true, is it not? If you've had experience with them, how long was it before you began to see results? How long should they be worn at a time, and how often each day/week?
Also, if your eyes grow accustom to them, wouldn't they become dependent on them for they serve as crutches?
I'm asking because for the past 4-5 years, I've been trying to find solutions to my myopia without having to wear glasses. I've tried almost everything. I actually now own a pair of pinhole SUNglasses. But because they have a dark lens, I don't use them-- at all. (Waste of money  ).
Anyway, I'm thinking of purchasing the original ones now. What do you think? Any opinions would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
