At the end of May my parents and I took a trip to see my sister, brother-in-law, and niece and finished it with a trip to Las Vegas. I had a great time there. We stayed at Excalibur but spent most of our time at New York, New York, which is one of the hotels/casinos next to it. I went on the Manhattan Express Rollercoaster, which was my first rollercoaster ride in which it goes really fast and upside down. Thrilling.

One of the best things about going to Las Vegas is the view during the night time. My father and I walked around and looked at the lights, the hotels, etc. We saw the water show at the Bellagio. I wish I would have brought a camera but we didn't think of it at the time.

One bit of advice if you go over there. If you ever go out during the evening and you see people handing you stuff like cards and booklets, don't take it...unless you like sleaze and pornography. :barf:

Vegas rules, baby!

I haven't been there in a few yeas, but I'm dying to go back.

I stayed at the Stratosphere, which is a great hotel with an amazing view, but it's a little too far from the other new hotels.
I also spent a night at Excalibur, which is a great place too.

I loved New York, New York. Made me feel like I never left Manhattan.

Plus, you can drink on the street in Vegas. I liked that more than gambling.

My parents went to Vegas and brought me back a cool shot glass.

I went to Lake Tahoe, NV a few weeks ago. The lake was beautiful, but I hated the casinos.

Yup, I went there back in April

I stayed in New York, New York for 2 nights, and then we drove and stayed at the Grand Canyon for 1 night, and then we went to Phoenix and stayed for 3 nights and then we went back to Vegas and saw Mamma Mia and spent the night at Caesar's Palace and flew out the next day. I LOVED Caesar's Palace, but I wasn't that impressed with New York, New York. I wasn't able to go on the roller coaster b/c of all days I was in Vegas it was pouring, but I thought the room was...bland and ugly and no different then anything I've been in before. The actual Casino part was cool, but very confusing, and easy to get lost in and I dunno, I was much more impressed with places like Caesar's Palace and MGM Grand and Paris. My mom says that gambling in New York, New York was really bad too and that it's better in other places.

However despite all that I loved Vegas, let's just say it's definitely an "adult playground" ;)

I was there once year's ago, and I loved it. The shows were exciting, and even though I'm not a gambler, I still fell in love with the slot machines.

I was there for a school choir trip my senior year of high school. We had less than 48 hours there and not a lot of free time. The only thing we really did was go to the indoor amusement park at Circus Circus. Besides that there really wasn't much/time to do anything else since we were all under 21 (besides the chaperones, but I don't think they went gambling).

I really want to go back there next May when I get out of school. I'll be 21 in October so I'll actually be able to gamble and have time to do stuff!
