To me,it was a hit.Twice the Schmos,twice the fun!

I didn't even know there was going to be a second Schmo, and now I find that I've missed the premier. Spike TV needs better advertising.

Where did they even find a Schmo who hasn't seen (or at least heard about) the first one? I don't know if they can recreate that original Schmo magic, but it's certainly worth a try. :)

What are you talking about?They did do a lot of advertising.They had the first Joe Schmo(Matt Kennedy Gould) talk about it in a lot of commercials

I guess the problem is that I rarely watch Spike. A lot of the cable networks (A&E, USA, Bravo, TNT, etc.) promote their shows on other channels, but I never see an ad for Spike unless I'm already watching it.

I'm not ordinarily a fan of the whole genre of "Reality TV" (a misnomer if ever there was one), but I found this show by accident one evening while I was flipping around, and I got drawn in by it. There was just something about Matt's demeanor that got to me. The combination of earnest intensity and absolute cluelessness was downright mesmerizing.

It's like Joe Millionaire. They can't redo these things! People will catch on!!

Cos you know, say you're a girl. You sign up for a reality show. They say, "This is the guy you're all vying for. He's really rich."

Would you automatically think, "JOE MILLIONAIRE?!"

Aww I liked the drunk.. I didn't want her to go. I love the stalker :rotflmao: Ingrid is hot :eek: . These two schmos don't see quite as clueless as Matt though!

I have a feeling if it goes down to two finalists each,it will go like this.Ingrid vs.Cammy(The Moron) for Austin and Tim vs. TJ(The Playah) for Piper

I feel part of the problem is that the actors in Joe Schmo 2 are not as good as those in the original (not that there were any Oscar winners in that one either!), especially the women. The one who played the drunk was way over the top. Will be interesting to see what happens with Ingrid Monday night.

All I know is that they had better not get rid of Ingrid. She's the best looking one they have there. She also has brains to match her beauty.

They didn't.They knew that she knew too much of what's going on but didn't want to get rid of her,so they told her what's going on and gave her a character(I don't know what it is) and told her that the only way she can get the money is to go along with what's going on.Ralph even stopped using his fake accent when he told her what's going on
