Cool that Three's Company is back.... but I would've prefered more Wings.

Suprised to see that The Cosby Show only has one marathon block.... now nobody can complain about being overplayed.

I like all these shows.... so it's all good.

Thats great!!! :D Extra Full House and now Who's The Boss? will have more airings!

Three's Company and Full House BOTH will have more airings than TCS...Are we in bizarro world or something (or did they just learn from last year's mistake...)

Wow, I'm surprised they decided to put Wings and Who's The Boss? into the marathons. You'd think they put Cosby Show in their places.

Wednesday and Thursday nights are my favorite nights though, by far. The advantage about living in this timezone is everything starts two hours earlier. :D Although on Mondays and Wednesdays I'll get Three's Company at the same time on N@N and TVLand.

I hope they don't overkill TC. It might become the next Cosby Show...*shivers*

~ "Three's Company" is definately on overkill at this point. It doesn't need 4 airings a day on TV Land plus 8 hours a week on N@N

~ Same goes for "Cheers" but it's not in prime slots on either network so it's not as bad

~ Very surprised to see "Cosby" with just one block. I bet that'll change... you heard it hear first

~ Nice to see "Wings" get a slot even though I'm not a fan of the show

What I would do/think is fair (this is just for fun, i'm not very angry and complaining):

Mondays:
10PM-2AM Cheers
2AM-6AM Who's the Boss

Tuesdays:
10PM-2AM Cosby Show
2AM-6AM Full House

Wednesdays:
10PM-2AM Who's the Boss
2AM-6AM Roseanne

Thursdays:
10PM-2AM Roseanne
2AM-6AM The Cosby Show

Fridays:
10PM-2AM Full House
2AM-6AM Wings

I should have known they'd stick the Wings marathon from 2 am to 6 am, I think they do that to ensure that no one can watch it

Why does N@N even air Wings anymore anyway? They seem to have very little faith and respect for the show. Let another netowrk pick it up.

EXACTLY!

Who wants to stay up that late to watch a fav. show, yes you can record it, but it's nice to watch it "live"(so to speak) every so often.

the sad part is Kristen, I wonder if another network would even pick it up, but I think it'd fit perfectly on WE or Oxygen.

I'd love to see in on WE too, or TBS. I'd also love to see it on local stations.

The thing I like about sitcoms airing on two networks is that if on one network the show is treated badly and if on another network it is treated good, than you could just always watch it on the network where it is treated good. Like im sure you would all be happy if Wings was on WE or TBS, and i want WTB on TBS or something like that because so far its not getting that great of treatment.

About these marathons...do they air episodes in order, or do they jump around with random stuff? I used to watch The Cosby Show all the time on Camp Nick@Nite, but didn't notice if they were played in order or not. With a show like Roseanne, its important that they keep the episodes consistent, as there's lots of continuity on the series. Also, when they start these marathons, do they pick up where the regularly played episodes left off, or do they start from the beginning of each series?

It is rather weird to air the same shows on 2 channels at 1 time.
It will be irritating picking what episode of Three's Company to watch on Mondays at 11PM/11:30PM and what episode of Cheers to watch on Saturdays & Sundays at 1AM/1:30AM. However, it's only for the summer.

Dang! I knew they were gonna do this to Wings!!!!!!!!!!

I bet this is the beginning of the end for Wings, cause after all these marathons are over, I gotta a feeling they're gonna phaze out Wings altogether

For some shows it's good. I mean ABC Family and Disney Channel are both gonna be airing Boy Meets World this summer, yet Disney airs BMW at midnight and 3 am this summer, so for some shows this can be a good thing to be on more than one network.

Are they trying to make it impossible for me to watch Wings? - sigh - I had the perfect latenight schedule these past two months with Roseanne at 12 and Wings at 1 and they had to go ruin it. Three's Company is already going to air 4 times a day on TVLand, and 16 times a week during the N@N marathons. I love Three's and all but this is definantly overkill.

Guess I better pull out those tapes once N@N goes back to Season 1.

I don't think it's weird for a show to air on more than one channel, just not at the exact same time. Boy Meets World is on 2 different channels and at different times. Three's Company and Cheers will be on 2 different channels at the same time. With Three's Company and Cheers I usually do not watch the seasons that are out on DVD.

TV Land/Nick @ Nite is really cutting back on Cheers in July. In June between the 2 channels, Cheers had 46 airings a week. In July it is being cut back to 26. I had a feeling this would be occuring due to it being shown 4 times a day on both channels most weekdays. The same thing may happen to Three's Company around the fall.

Three's Company has now officially joined the "Overplayed, beat it into the ground" list of shows.

Thanks N@N.

Poor TC, Could they be doing this because the anniversary of John Ritter's death is coming up in Sept? :(

I for one would love to see Wings and Who's the Boss? be a little bit more overplayed on N@N

I'm not a fan of shows being overplayed, but Three's Company is an exception(for me). I don't get TVLAND and the episodes I recorded last year are in slp mode so I'm glad it's coming back to N@N at least for a little while. Hey Pav, do you think N@N will cancel the summer marathons after a month, like they did last year?

Nick@Nite Note:
Starting July 28, for the last three Wednesdays of the summer marathons, the 1:30AM slot will be Three's Company instead of Who's the Boss? due to the number of airplays allowed for Who's the Boss?
So Wednesdays will be: Who's the Boss? from 10:00PM -1:30AM and Three's Company from 1:30AM-6:00AM for the last three Wednesdays of the summer marathons.

I dunno about everyone else, but I'm going to be watching on Wednesdays!! I love WTB? and I wish it got more airtime than it does. Two shows a night (and one of them when I'm half way asleep) doesn't cover my obsession!

Since I was not here July 4-8, there was a Nick@Nite change this week. Nothing major, but here it is:

For the July 5 schedule through the end of the summer marathons, Aug 13:
Tuesdays 1:30AM Fatherhood (replaces Cosby Show)
Sundays 1:00AM Fatherhood (replaces Cheers)

Also, of note, Fatherhood will air this Sunday (July 11) at 12 noon on Nickelodeon.

Nick@Nite has added a back-to-school marathon on August 29, with back-to-school & back-to-back episodes of Full House, The Cosby Show, and Roseanne. See first post in this thread for details.

And to think that this crap used to be Block Party Summer.

Brady Bunch Mondays, Lucy Tuesdays, Gilligan or Laverne and Shirley Wednesdays, Happy Days Thursdays, Jeannie Fridays..

Block Party Summer should be transferred to TV Land, and let Nick at Nite have their little 'road crew' thing.

Why are you asking this on a Nick@Nite thread? If you read the bottom of the September schedule thread, you will see why. It is not ready yet.
