I thought Lifetime got rid of L&S because it wasn't on at 11:00am today. I went to the L&S schedule at lifetime.com and found out that L&S will be airing M-F at 8:00am.

Here's a link to the schedule:

Yet another last minute change. I think The Nanny is now on seven times every weekday (same goes for The Golden Girls). And everyone complains about Cosby Show, Roseanne, and Full House, lol.

I hate last minute changes. Why can't they just leave the schedule alone or at least give us some kind of warning

LOL, Pav. Yeah, Cosby Show is bitterly trashed for airing so many times, but that's on DIFFERENT networks. Frankly, Cosby Show could air 10 times a night on N@N and I wouldn't care. J/K but, actually I agree, 7 times a day is just a little too much for anyshow. I mean, they could have a really nice comedy block, but all that airs is Nanny and Golden Girls (thankfully I like them, LOL). Suddenly Susan and Mad About You were shoved to late night and L&S and DW air once a day at 8 and 8:30am, respectively. A nice block could air (8-9 DW, 9-10 L&S, 10-11 GG, 11-12 Nanny) or heck, even one episode of all their sitcoms (they have enough: Ellen, MAY, Caroline in the City, etc.0

I mean, if you don't like it, don't watch it, right?

Anyway, thankfully my TiVo detected the scheduled time change.

If I see that Fran Drescher one more time I'm gonna break my tv. LOL. Lifetime definitely needs some more sitcoms. I know Frasier and Will and Grace are coming, but it would be cool to see some older shows like Maude, MTM, and One Day at a Time.

It would be great to see some older shows, but I have a feeling that "Laverne & Shirley" has not performed as well as Lifetime had hoped, which is probably why it was cut down to one airing per day and pushed back to 8:00 am (a much less desirable and less important timeslot than late morning). Had it performed better, it might have opened the door for other shows from the not-so-recent past.

Well now I missed taping an ep of Laverne & Shirley that I didn't know was on at a different time and ended up with another episode of The Nanny that I already have.

Dummies.

8 a.m. is fine. I can tape whenever I'm not at work but still.

Here r the shows I want on Lifetime:
"Taxi"
"Cheers" (unless Nick & Nite gets ride of Cosby & Roseanne-sumday in the next century-we need 2 make a petition 2 get rid of them-they did that on the "Who's The Boss?" site (www.wtbr.com) 2 bring "Who's The Boss?" season1 2 dvd-which it worked so let's create the petition NOW!)
"Facts Of Life"

P.S. Happy TGIF y'all! :)

When is Cheers on???? I wish it was on @ a real time like 9-10 a.m. or 5-6 p.m. Though the show is on the weekends, sometimes Cheers isn't on due 2 a telethon or something weird. Will some1 let me know by e-mail @ tiff_lisatony7@yahoo.com when Cheers & L&S are on? Thanx & have a gr8 week y'all! :D

Designing Women and Laverne & Shirley will be off the weekday line-up starting this Monday (November 1). Replaced by Suddenly Susan and Mad About You at 8 and 8:30 a.m. ET.

That's terrible. I wish Hallmark Channel would show Laverne & Shirley.

I figured that it would not be a great fit for Lifetime -- a little too retro for that channel. It was cut down to one airing per day very soon after Lifetime started running it, and was moved to the 8:00 am slot not long after.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it turn up on Hallmark or even TV Land again in the future.

It's a really good show, but this world is stuck on Reality TV and there doesn't seem to be a great demand for the classics:(

I'm sad... I know that the show isn't airing anymore ... I don't know if they're changing the time but I really hope that they do since 8am was a bit too early for me. lol. I never got up to watch it but it was just the thought that it was actually on if I had the strength to get up. lmao. But I really do wish it'd be put back on at a later time ~ anytime would actually be fine lol As long as it's on.... *tear*

At least we have the dvds I hope they release more seasons soon.

I hate all this reality tv crap.

I'm going to look for an email address to send to both TV stations, maybe the more people that want the shows back ~ they'll come back on. :)
