"Roommates"

"Roommates" stars Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler, as roommates in Malibu, California, who share a nice, big Malibu studio apartment. Adam Sandler plays Aaron Michaels, a middle-aged waiter at a restuarant. Ben Stiller plays Brad Finnerty, a middle-aged car salesman. Aaron and Brad were best friends since the 4th grade. They both grew-up in Boston, Massachuetts and then moved to Malibu, California after their high school graduation. Aaron and Brad both have steady girlfriends, who also are roommates as well. Aaron's girlfriend, Paige Matthews (Marisa Tomei) is an ex-exotic dancer, who now wants to become a kindergarten teacher. Brad's girlfriend, Sarah Crawford (Christine Taylor) is a bank teller at a very successful bank branch. Sarah and Paige both want to settle down with their boyfriends and get engaged, get married, and start a family. Yet Aaron and Brad personally don't think they are ready financially and emotionally. Aaron and Brad's bitter, divorced landlord, Mike Sutton (Charlie Sheen) lives in the apartment across the hall, and is always willing to lend some advice or comments on how getting married can change everything, including the people in the marriage. Paige and Sarah get frustrated when they try to convince thier boyfriends into getting engaged, but Mike tells them how being married has its downfalls.
(it may seem a little repeative, but its not all about getting married, they all try to lend advice and support to help each other out of everyday dilemmas as well).
