Right below the VB Code buttons B, I, and U (for bold, italic, and underlined, respectively) there is a button that says "http://." Click that. Then insert words (which is optional) and then put the URL in the next thing that pops up. dandelion wine 06-14-2004, 11:32 PM Originally posted by -*Forever*- Awww you beat me to it :( Oops, sorry. :( Brian 06-14-2004, 11:33 PM Originally posted by little insomniac Oops, sorry. :( You beat me to it, too. But I did something different. I didn't know you could do it that way. dandelion wine 06-14-2004, 11:44 PM Originally posted by Brian You beat me to it, too. But I did something different. I didn't know you could do it that way. Yeah, I was going to go about it that way as well but I'm just so used to that shortcut. Janice 06-14-2004, 11:44 PM Did it work? (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?postid=1809191#post1809191post1809191) I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THESE THINGS!!! dandelion wine 06-14-2004, 11:50 PM Originally posted by Janice Did it work?[ /url] I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THESE THINGS!!! Almost, you just have to lose the space in your very last tag. vashti1999 06-14-2004, 11:57 PM Originally posted by Janice Did it work?[ /url] I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THESE THINGS!!! I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, but I would have thought you'd know. You don't have to know everything to be appointed as one. Really all you need to know are the edit buttons and the administrative options at the bottom of the page (only mods and admins can see it) Janice 06-15-2004, 12:00 AM Originally posted by little insomniac Almost, you just have to lose the space in your very last tag. Great, thanks. And thanks to the others that helped. Do I memorize that little taggy thing or what? Cashodeen 06-15-2004, 12:06 AM Originally posted by Janice Great, thanks. And thanks to the others that helped. Do I memorize that little taggy thing or what? You could memorize it if you'd like. I really don't though... I just use the "http://" button up above. I didn't learn how to do it until just a couple months ago, and I've been using message boards for years. Their are a lot of buttons on SO i still don't know how to use. Cashodeen 06-15-2004, 12:11 AM Originally posted by mr roper Thats the button I use. For the longest time I wasn't quoting people the easy way because I forgot about the "quote" button after leaving SO for a while... I'd just copy and paste and write in [ quote][/ quote] myself. Can't believe I just admitted that! :seeya: Janice 06-15-2004, 12:21 AM testing (http://http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?threadid=112233) Okay, I used the thing above, and it looks like it worked, but the page didn't open correctly. I'll get there. testing2 (http://http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?threadid=112232) Not happening. dandelion wine 06-15-2004, 12:21 AM Originally posted by Janice Great, thanks.
