than the Fred Sanford character. Remember the episode, Fred the Activist, Fred was told by the Store Manager that he couldn't get a Stereo on credit because he was over 60. But Aunt Esther qualified because she was supposedly under 60-LOL How many people thought the Aunt Esther character was older than Fred Sanford? I always thought they were supposed to both be in the same age bracket. To me, it looked like she was playing the role of a woman in her 60's. Defintely not under 60. Even in her first apperance, the youngest she looked was 62.

I guess I did think Esther was Elizabeth's older sister! maybe she was but still younger than Fred, never really examined that!
