True, but while M*A*S*H was set during the Korean War in the '50s, a lot of the anti-war sentiment in the series was how they felt about the Vietnam war, which was still in progress when the show began. It was easy to transpose their feelings because while Korea was a different war, it was still a war.

The presidents were: Nixon, Ford, Carter & Reagan
Plus Bush in 2004!
