I haven't seen Family Affair since FX ran it in the 1990's. Probably 10 years ago and before that I hadn't seen it since the 70's. That's one old show that needs to be picked up.

Small Wonder. That's a show I watched the first time around as a kid. The last time I saw that show was on Saturday morning reruns in the early '90s. Then it sank without a trace, and I don't know if it is airing anywhere now. I doubt it will ever show up on DVD. I read somewhere that both Candace Cameron (Full House) and Heather O'Rourke (Happy Days, Poltergeist) auditioned for Vicki the robot. Wow! :eek:

Probably 3rd rock for the sun and these aren't sitcoms but the flinstones and the jetsons.

In addition to my earlier choice of Family Affair, I'd also like to see some others which were mentioned in this thread: Hogan's Heroes, My Three Sons and McHale's Navy--all of which I haven't seen in some time.

I also liked the short-lived Brooklyn Bridge--same producer as Family Ties, if I'm not mistaken. It was a good family show, maybe not with appeal to everyone, but I liked it.

My grandma LOVED Brooklyn Bridge. It was a terrible TV year for her as her three faves: BB, Homefront and I'll Fly Away were all cancelled in the same year. She died before 2 of her other favorites, Christy and Dr. Quinn, went off the air.

Getting back to sitcoms, I loved Mr. Belvedere and haven't seen that in at least 10-12 years. Silver Spoons, same story. I also haven't seen Punky Brewster since I was a kid. I do know Punky is on DVD now, but I have a feeling I'd hate it watching through the eyes of an adult. Who knows??

That's one of my fave Cooper episodes! Also love how Mark was singing "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" when he had to wear the restaurant jacket, and how Robin gave her boyfriend "MEAT!" as a birthday gift when he kept raving on about his ex-girlfriend. Too funny! :rofl:

I just found a few episodes of Cooper that I'd taped YEARS ago, during it's first run. There still were some pretty funny episodes in the Geneva era, and EONS better than almost anything else on the air now. :(

I believe you are right, it along with Blossom and Mr. Belvedere are coming to DVD this year. Blossom at the end of the month, the other two in March.
