Back in 1988, CBS aired A Very Brady Christmas which revived interest in the Brady Bunch. In fact, the reunion was the highest rated TV movie of that year, generating a new series, The Bradys. Do you see this FOL reunion doing the same thing to The Facts of Life?

I don't see it happening for "Facts". The ratings were decent -- it got an 8.7 according to Mediaweek.com, which should place it in the top 30, good for a Disney TV-movie. "Very Brady Christmas", however, got HUGE ratings (I believe between a 25 and a 26) and was among the top shows of the week. Granted, those types of ratings are pretty much unheard of on networks these days, but even adjusting for lower network viewing levels, "Facts" isn't up to the "Brady" levels. If "Facts" had gotten numbers like that, then maybe there would be network interest in further "Facts" projects.

Then again, who knows what will happen?

Even though I was a little dissapointed with the reunion movie, I too would like to see a sequel or other "Facts" projects in the future. However, I have to agree with the previous post. I don't see it happening. I think it is a ratings thing.
Also, even though all of us on this board love FOL, I don't think there's quite the national nolstalgia (yet) for FOL that there was/is for the Brady Bunch. That show has become a pop culture phenominom (sp?).After all, how many TV comedies have spawned off two reuinion movies, a spinnoff series, a kids saturday morning cartoon, a dramatic series, a summer variety show, two theatrical films, and a off-Broadway show. "Facts" has yet to do that.
I love "FOL", and I do hope that I am wrong. I hope there will be enuough renewed interest in the show to spawn off another movie or other "Facts" projects. We'll just have to see what happens.

I know I am SOOOOOOOOO wishfully thinking, but maybe in 10-20 years another "Facts" Reunion movie will come around? This time WITH Nancy, Geri, George, Andy, Pippa, and Beverly Ann? I was highly dissapointed to not see Geri in it. I loved Geri!!! Well lets see in 10 years... maybe one last movie... like, the last shibang, ya know?

I highly doubt it. Especially George, considering what his issue was with this reunion.
