I always liked Myrtle better than Steve because she wasn't as loud, clumsy & most importantly she wasn't a brainiac!Meaning no stupid inventions on the show. I wish they made a spin-off of starring Eddie,Gretta (the girl Myrtle used to fight with alot!) & some brand new characters.I don't know if Jaleel White would have been up to playing a nerdy woman every episode but it could have been funny if they had the right writers, a nice cast that had chemistry. Here's how it could go.... Eddie & Gretta move out of town & move to a place in New York to share together.... Only to their horror, their neighbor is Myrtle who lives right next door.Heck we could even bring Waldo up there with them... I think it would have been funnier than the last seasons of Family Matters!

She was a funny character but like you said Jaleel or Jaleel's daddy probably would have problems with him doing drag on a regular basis!

I think that could have been a very successful show

I concur. However, they could have found a female to play the part. Problem solved! :)

It wouldn't had been funny then. The whole idea was that it was a guy in drag and, more importantly, Urkel in drag.
