This just in: as mentioned at the above link, racing promoter Michael Frank Goodwin has been indicted for the 1988 murders of race car driver Mickey Thompson and his (Mickey's) wife Trudy.

I never forgot about this case. I remember when UM aired the segment during the 1988-89 season (the show's very official season). Witnesses reported two black men on bicycles fleeing the scene. Although composite sketches of the men were made and released to the public, they have never been identified.

It's about time. :)

I remember the case too, not the original airing(I was only a few months old), but the rerun on Lifetime.

I, too, remember seeing this when it first aired. I'm glad the guy was caught, but I wish they'd also caught those two guys on the ten speeds.

I was just reading a article about Phil Spector's trial delayed & it mentions that 2 prosecutors are goin to trial in May in the case of Michael Goodwin.

Just thought I would pass this on.
