"Life With My Mother"

"Life With My Mother" stars Jennie Garth, who plays Katie Lambries. Katie Lambries is a 30 year old bank teller, who has been recently separated from her cheating husband, Chris Lambries (Luke Wilson). Chris now is moved in with his mistress, Allison (Sarah Chalke). Chris and Katie have a 6 year old daughter, Morgan Lambries. After a week of being separated, Katie realizes she can't handle working full-time, being a single parent, and have time to do housework, and not to mention time to relax. So, Katie decides to take Morgan and herself, leave New York City and fly to Malibu, CA to Katie's mom's house. Katie's 50 year old mom, Charolette McKinley (Catherine O'Hara) was a single mom herself. Charolette without any questions, takes in her daughter and her granddaughter. After being there for a week, Katie realizes she shouldn't have moved in with her mom. Katie is getting tired of Charolette's subtle comments of being single and 30 years old. But Katie can't afford living on her own and she decides Morgan is better off living with her grandma.
(Chris and Allison are only mentioned and well are never shown, until these episodes: (1) when Chris wants to file for divorce (2) when Chris and Allison want Morgan to be at their wedding (3) when Chris and Allison decide to move to Malibu themselves to be close to Morgan (4) when Chris and Katie battle for custody of Morgan)

Brenda King (Christine Baranski) is Charolette's single best friend.
Charlie Mason (Charlie Sheen) is Brenda's bachelor nephew, who is set up with Katie from the workings of Charolette and Brenda.
Renee Thompson (Deedee Pfeiffer) is Katie's co-worker at the bank and new best friend, who is married, Mitch (Kirk Cameron) and a mother of two boys (Bradley, 4, and Michael, 6)
