How did they explain Jo's absence and were those her husband and children?

Jo was in L.A. on a case... (shes a cop) and yes that was her kid and husband

Someone should have given the actress playing Jamie a good dose of Dristan before they shot her scenes. I nominate her to play Fran's daughter in "The Nanny" reunion.

Thanks. I could kick myself for missing the first half. I'd forgotten this was a Disney production and they always start earlier than other movies.

SO DID I! I was working on an essay while I was watching the marathon and my friend called and she was like "Hey are you watching The Facts of Life movie?" and I was like "AAAAHHH! I forgot about it!!!!!" and I turned on my TV and like had no idea what was going on!

I missed the movie totally. I had to go to campus to work on a report that had to be turned in tonight. I got home with about 10 minutes left on the show. My family was all hey come on in here with us. I told them no, I missed the rest of the movie, I was not going to watch the end yet.

As soon as it was off I came into my room, rewound my VCR, and watched it. I am now watching it for the 3rd time. I think it was great. I loved the inside jokes. I loved the theme song in the middle of the movie that was cool.

It was great all around.
